What does it mean to be an Anti-Racist church?

Isn't an anti-racist church is just a Christian church? Aren't we called to love one another no matter what race or class or gender or country, right? What is the purpose of an adjective like "anti-racist"? Does it mean we just become more diverse? Does it mean our outward journeys are only focused on racist issues in our society? What do you think?
For the past couple of years, we have practiced anti-racism by distributing more of our money to organizations that are led by people of color. We have heard more teachings from people of color. We have centered ourselves on black and Latinex poetry as a daily practice.
What would it be like to have people of color be in the leadership of our community? What would it be like for each of us to write our own racial autobiography? What would it be like to learn to sensitize ourselves and pray ourselves into more conscious awareness of how we either wield or submit to the interpersonal power we either have or do not have because of the color of our skin?

Nice entry. Tell me more. I like several aspects of this functional model. We can publish our material and receive comments.
