Eighth Day Faith Community Presents
Wes Howard-Brook and Sue Ferguson Johnson
A study of the Gospel of John (June 20-24, 2014)
Wes Howard-Brook, author of Come Out, My People! God’s Call Out of Empire in the Bible and Beyond, and a commentary on the Book of John (Becoming Children of God) and Sue Ferguson-Johnson will once again come to Washington to be with Eighth Day and Church of the Saviour communities.
Wes has been a professor of theology and religious studies at Seattle University for 15 years. Sue is a cherished Spiritual Director who provided one-on-one listening sessions two years ago when they visited the community for a week.
The focus of this visit will be John’s Gospel. We hope everyone will join us for five lectures and discussions (topics are in bold):
