One of 8th Day's annual events is our mid-winter Community Day. It's a time when we come together for dialog and reflection on our year's theme. We also sing, share lunch, spend time in a whole group activity, small groups and one-to-one walk and talks. This year our theme is Welcoming the Stranger. We will gather at the Farmhouse at Dayspring at 9:30 a.m. for coffee and fellowship before starting our program at 10 a.m. We will end at 4 p.m.

We encourage folks to bring morning refreshments to share and a bag lunch, but we will provide soup for all to share. We will provide rides to and from Dayspring.

If you'd like to help out with coordinating rides or providing transportion, facilitating a small group discussion, bringing refreshments to share, providing music, or being the fireplace attender, please let Marcia Harrington know.  If you need a ride contact Marja Hilfiker (202) 387-2347.

If the weather is too rough for traveling that Saturday, our backup date is the following Saturday, March 5.
